Pensioner’s firewood

10am, Saturday 25th January 2020 – Achnaha Wood carpark

A huge thank you to Alan Davidson and the Ardtornish log splitter and chainsaw that made short work of the log pile. We delivered logs to 31 pensioners households this year so a big well done to everyone who came down with their axes!

Winter Solstice

3.15pm, Saturday 21st December 2019 – Achnaha Wood

The shortest day of the year was celebrated in style with the hardiest of souls going for a sunset swim, followed swiftly by a huge beach bonfire, mulled wine and food. Hats off to the brave folk that took the plunge!

Achnaha Beach Clean

10am, Sunday 14th April 2019 – Achnaha Woodland

This is a chance to get the beach at Achnaha ready for summer. We’ll supply gloves, bags, wheelbarrow and rakes … helpful hands are very welcome!

Come along to see what the crafty producers of Morvern have been getting up to over the winter. We’ll have lots of copies of our Woodland Book and spring flowers and foliage to brighten up your homes for Easter.
